Is Facilities Management ready for the next decade?

Why the Facilities Management Industry is not adopting IoT tech like other industries?

We have developed robotics to control and produce goods in factories, we are developing and using driverless cars, but in buildings, we still depend and rely on human intervention and operation. Even if we have smart buildings we still rely on human input regarding set points, temperature setting and HVAC working schedules.

Why is the entry barrier higher in prop-tech?
